FAQs


  • How much does it cost to have a vending machine?

    Nothing! Our vending machine service is 100% free for all of our sites. We offer free vending machines and look after the filling, servicing and maintenance for you. 

  • Do the vending machines have cashless payment options?

    All of our vending machines are equipped with an EFTPOS reader that takes tap and go payments by card or phone. Almost of our machines also accept cash, though there are some models of machines that are designed cashless.


    Cashless payment works by 

    1. the customer taps their phone and the machine runs an authorisation;
    2. the customer makes their selection;
    3. the machine asks to tap again to confirm payment (the EFTPOS places a hold on the card);
    4. the machine dispenses the item;
    5. the sensor in the collection drawer confirms the item has dropped and then charges the customer's card. 
  • How often do the vending machines get filled?

    We are able to remotely monitor stock levels and will fill the machines based on the demand when the drinks or food starts to run low. Some machines only need filling every 3 weeks, some machines need filling every 2 days. It just depends on how much your staff and patrons consume. 

  • Can I choose what goes in the vending machines?

    We are happy to work with our customers to determine what should go in our vending machines. The main goal for everyone of us is to keep the users happy. Therefore we will seasonally swap out items that are not selling with new options, requested items or the most popular choices if they repeatedly sell out. 

  • What happens if there is an issue with a vending machine?

    All of our vending machines are regularly serviced and operate smoothly more that 99% of the time. Like all technology however, there can be an issue on the odd occasion. 

    For this reason, all of our vending machines have a contact sticker with a QR code for customers to fill out a feedback form. We contact them directly providing a solution or a refund when required. 

    You, or the relevent manager for your site location, is also able to call or email us should there ever be any notable issues with a vending machine and we will arrange for it to be visited urgently. 

  • Where can I put the vending machines?

    Vending machines can go almost anywhere. There are just a few simple requirements:

    • each vending machine needs its own power outlet;
    • the vending machines need to be undercover - they can be outdoors as long as they are protected from the elements and secure from damage;
    • the vending machines need to be in an accessible location to be filled. This means that the door to the machine needs to be able to fully open, and the walkway needs to be stairwell free for us to bring in cartons of drinks (a couple of steps we can generally manage). 
  • How long will it take to get a vending machine to my site?

    We aim to have your vending machine/s delivered within a week, depending on the availability of desired machines and the schedule of our machine movers. We are happy to work with you to find a suitable time for delivery and installation. 

  • What happens if an item does not dispense and my card has been charged?

    Most of our vending machines are equipped with a drop sensor. 

    The machine will place a hold on the card for the amout at the time of payment, but if the machine does not sense the item drops, it will not process the payment. The hold on the funds should be release within a couple of business days. 


    Should there be a jam in the coin or note mechanism a customer is able to contact us directly (there is a sticker on each of the machines with information). We will then arrange for a refund to be transferred back to the customer. 

  • What areas do you service?

    We are based on the Gold Coast but have a wide service area between Gold Coast and Ipswich included Logan and South Brisbane.
